Red Bull Rampage
Hell, yeah! That was an impressive piece of a run Antoine Bizet nailed
down at Red Bull Rampage 2016 in Virgin, Utah:
He topped a super-fluid run across the riders’ right ridge with a
double backflip in the lower trick section of the mountain.
That moment, Antoine was making history.
Cementing his name into the history books of the event as he was the first rider to
land a double backflip at Rampage. It was his redemption from
Rampage 2015 when the same trick ended with a crash
and a broken arm...
Before dropping in for his first run this year, Antoine showed a lot of
confidence, patience and the right mental balance.
He was one of the few riders to take advantage of the new rules at Red Bull Rampage: Antoine took the opportunity and moved back in the queue of
riders, waiting for the perfect moment to start his run. Finally, starting from the last position in the grid, he got a time slot with better wind
conditions allowing him to show the run he had planned.
The rest is simply history!
