Perfect protection starts with the right fit. Traditional sizes like S–XL often fall short, as they don’t fully account for differences in body height and leg length. After all, the same leg circumference doesn’t automatically mean the same fit.

That’s why ION, together with the ergonomics experts at SQlab, developed Adaptive Sizing: four base sizes, each available in two lengths, allowing for a much more precise fit tailored to individual body proportions.

Find Your Perfect Knee Protector Size

Getting the right size is simple. Just follow the steps below and measure your leg in a few minutes.

Step 1 – Preparation

Take the Knee Protection Measurement Kit out of the envelope. Sit comfortably on a chair and slightly bend your leg.

The template should be placed directly on your skin. For accurate results, remove your pants or roll them up high enough so your thigh is fully exposed.

Step 2 – Positioning

Place the template on your leg so that the cut-out area is centered over your kneecap.

Make sure the marked arrow aligns with the top edge of your kneecap.

Step 3 – Adjusting

Wrap the narrow end of the template firmly around your leg.

Ensure it sits evenly and does not slip.

Step 4 – Reading the Size

Look through the viewing window at the narrow end of the template.

You can now directly read your correct protector size.

Short or Tall?

The length selection depends on your body height.

Above your measured size, you’ll find a recommendation for Short or Tall—simply follow the indication and choose the appropriate version.
