The Shelter 2L MTB Softshell Trousers feature an updated main fabric and a new tapered fit. The inner lining is directly bonded to the outer shell, creating a lightweight two-layer construction. The bonded waffle fleece structure on the inside is designed to retain air within the fabric structure. Combined with an outer C0 DWR finish, the trousers are developed for riding in variable weather conditions. Ripstop fabric is strategically integrated in key areas to support durability. Large pockets feature mesh inserts that can assist with ventilation when needed. The tapered fit can be adjusted via leg zips and gussets to accommodate different footwear. As a subtle nod to ION’s Enduro heritage, the design references Finale Ligure.

PFC-free C0 DWR finish
Durable water-repellent finish without intentionally added PFCs. Regular care and reactivation may be required to maintain water-repellent properties over time.

Ripstop is a reinforced fabric that makes them more resistant to tearing and ripping.
Waffle Fleece Bonding
The waffle structure of the fabric allows for the formation of small air pockets that trap warm air and increase insulation. All without making it more bulky

Softshellhose un Jacke

Sehr angenehm zu tragen, bei 9Grad Temperatur läßt sie leicht kühle Luft durch,aber nicht das man friert! Hab auch die passende Jacke dazu und bin bis jetzt angenehm überrascht und zufrieden. Trage die Kleidung beim Radfahren und sie schrenkt in keiner Weise die Beweglichkeit ein.

Sehr gute Qualität aber recht kurz

Qualität ist sehr gut, alles sehr durchdacht. Auch sehr robust. Die Länge ist für meine Zwecke und Beine etwas kurz. Ansonsten tolles, hochwertiges Gefühl.

Tolle Hose

Das Material ist wie immer sehr angenehm zu tragen. Die Farbe ist auch ansprechend. Alles in allem wie immer top Qualität. Einzig die Länge ist etwas problematisch, da für mich etwas zu kurz.

super comfy, cuts the chill

Very comfortable, light yet effective to cut the windchill & insulate, without bulk or sweating. Ive been searching for years for trousers like this, its the bonded waffle inside that is the key. I was slightly worried about the belt/no velcro around the waist, but the 4 way stretch works well. Im UK34 in jeans & 34 with these pants was correct. Another win for ION as far as im concerned, I have 3 pairs of their traze amp shorts for a good reason.
