Salamat Po
Premiere Recap
📍 Saturday, June 28 – Exo 73
After screenings at the ION Youngblood Camp in Turin and at the ION Shop Source in Annecy, Salamat Po hit the screen for the third time — this time under the open skies of EXO 73.
As the evening unfolded, the vibe at EXO 73 kept climbing. Nearly 200 people gathered — the dock filled up, beers flowed steady, and the kitchen was on fire — serving up a next-level burger stacked with Tomme de Savoie IGP. Official verdict: “Best burger ever eaten at a cable park.”
At 10 p.m., the cable shut down and the whole setup shifted. A 15x7 meter screen stretched across the water, turning the park into an open-air cinema like no other. Projector on the snack bar roof, mirror-like reflections on the lake — the kind of scene you don’t forget.
Before showtime, Loic and the crew amped it up with a Kahoot quiz on the Asia trip — packed with behind-the-scenes stories, random facts, and inside moments that pulled everyone deeper into the project. Winners scored gear from Loic’s sponsors, and the buzz kept growing.
Then — silence. Time for the premiere of Salamat Po, a 10-minute dive into Loic’s three-month mission through Thailand and the Philippines during winter 2025. Full-send moments, heavy bangers, and pure storytelling. Whistles, cheers, and serious love for Loic and Robin’s work. The crowd? All in.
“Bravo! We want more!” was the message loud and clear. The screen came down fast, and the cable fired back up for a late-night session under the stars. Some rode, some danced — and everyone left with a moment to remember.
A big thank you to all partners — Watts, Tomme de Savoie, Chanvre DC, and Bug Visionaries — for making it all possible.
At ION, we’re beyond stoked to have hosted this premiere and to keep creating spaces for projects that fuel the wakeboard community.

Salamat Po — “Thank you” in Filipino — is the latest video project from Loic Deschaux, filmed over three months during the winter of 2025 between the Philippines and Thailand.
After two years battling injuries and an incredible 2025 season (French Champion, Vice European Champion, and World Champion), Loic felt the need to step back from competition and show a different side of his riding — more freedom, more style, more personality.
Salamat Po is a 10-minute, high-paced wakeboard video, blending tropical scenery, legendary cable parks, and raw, expressive riding.
A film that celebrates resilience, flow, and the simple joy of riding.
