Comfortable Pads
I haven't had any crashes yet to check out the actual protection level. However I do find them very comfortable and don't really even notice that I am wearing them. On one ride they slid down just a little (but I didn't even notice until I went to take them off after the ride) so maybe I have slightly larger than I need (but I don't want the too tight either). I have a tendency to sweat a lot so they are soaked at the end of my ride (just like my socks, shorts and shirt) but I don't find that they are the cause of excess sweat as they actually breath quite well. Maybe it would be nice if the pads were removable so that they could easily go in the wash (I haven't checked washing instructions). I have large calves and thighs so I have XL which was recommended by the sizing guide.
