The revised version of our test-winning K-PACT features a proven sleeve construction for a great fit using a new, very breathable sleeve material: the Super_Perforator_Neoprene grants for maximum breathability even on uphills. Asymmetrical side padding for protection from impacts and top tube contacts. The main SAS-TEC performance padding is famous for its cushioning characteristics. Overall, the K-PACT is your reliable partner for home trail rides, bike park adventures and high-speed backcountry descents!
SAS-TEC Main Padding
SAS-TEC is a German-based innovative producer of body armor protective components. SAS-TEC has a long track record of producing outstanding motorbike protection – and is the best choice for your safety. We use 3D-protectors made of visco elastic soft foam with incredible shock absorption values.
Super_Perforator_Neoprene
Very flexible and robust neoprene with superior breathability. Of course not if compared with a mesh fabric. But for neoprene it is the most breathable one we used to date.
Power_Aramid upper material at the kneecap
Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber originally developed by DuPont. Today it is used in a wide range of applications, including protective equipment, tires and bow strings. The material is characterized by high tear resistance and tensile strength.
Lightweight_EVA side padding
Closed cell foam – lightweight and flexible protection where you need it.
Air_Prene
Neoprene is pretty versatile. It also absorbs impact forces in the event of a crash. Airprene_Padding makes for lightweight protection, whilst providing sufficient breathability to avoid overheating underneath.
SAS-TEC Pad

Together with SAS-TEC, ION uses a viscoelastic PU foam that contains more than 60% renewable raw materials, including castor and rapeseed oil.
