Together with SAS-TEC, ION uses a viscoelastic PU foam in selected protection products. More than 60% of the foam consists of raw materials derived from castor and rapeseed oil.

Organic cotton is sourced from production systems that follow defined requirements regarding farming practices and material traceability. The use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is prohibited under the Organic Content Standard (OCS), which also includes requirements for the handling and verification of organic materials. The organic cotton used in our products is certified according to the Organic Content Standard (OCS).

Drirelease® Eco Contains 15% organic cotton and 85% recycled polyester. Drirelease® Eco fabrics combine Drirelease® technology with Repreve® fibers from Unifi. These fibers are made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a material commonly used for plastic bottles and other containers.

Recycled Polyester Recycled polyester is made from existing polyester materials such as PET bottles or production waste. The recycled polyester used in our products is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

PrimaLoft® Silver PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation is made with 70% recycled polyester and offers thermal insulation, water- and wind-resistant properties, compressibility and breathability. It contains post-consumer recycled materials and features a high-loft construction. According to PrimaLoft®, approximately 28 recycled plastic bottles are used to produce one kilogram of PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation, which corresponds to approximately six bottles per garment.
