OUR COMMITMENT: 1% FOR THE PLANET 

At ION, as part of Boards & More, we firmly believe that our passion for watersports and cycling is inseparable from our respect for nature. That’s why we decided to become members of "1% for the Planet". This coalition of businesses recognized that it’s time to actively contribute to preserving our environment. We see the need to question our business practices and understand that economic success is directly linked to the state of our Earth. 

Through our commitment to "1% for the Planet", we reaffirm not only our goal of acting more sustainably but also our commitment to the values that shape our "Save our Playgrounds" program and our "Code of Conduct". 

By donating 1% of our online revenue to environmental and social projects, we send a strong message about our commitment and invite our community to join us on this journey. 

According to the 1% for the Planet guidelines, up to half (½) of our 1% commitment can be fulfilled through non-monetary contributions — such as in-kind product donations, volunteer work, or campaigns that highlight 1% for the Planet.

Their mission is simple yet powerful: to provide bicycles to those who lack access to transportation—students, healthcare workers, farmers, and entrepreneurs—empowering them to reach schools, jobs, and medical care.

By purchasing bicycles locally instead of shipping them from abroad, Wheels4Life not only meets the needs of communities but also supports local economies. At ION, we believe mobility creates opportunity. The landscapes we explore—mountains, trails, and roads—connect us to the world, but for many, a simple bicycle can be the key to a better future. It’s not just about transportation; it’s about independence, education, and well-being.

We are committed to making a real impact. With zero overhead costs, every donation to Wheels4Life goes directly toward providing bikes for those in need. Small actions lead to great change. Together, we can turn every ride into a step toward a better future.
