Limestone is one of the components used in selected neoprene foam formulations. The foam used in these wetsuits is free from petroleum-based chloroprene rubber.

Biocalcium oxide powder derived from discarded oyster shells is used to partially replace limestone in our neoprene foam formulation. The oyster shell powder is incorporated into the foam compound alongside limestone and Eco Carbon Black.

Carbon black is one of the components used in neoprene foam formulations. The Eco Carbon Black used in selected ION wetsuits is recovered from scrap rubber tires through pyrolysis and incorporated into the foam compound alongside limestone and Oyster Shell Powder.
