OUR COMMITMENT: ADOPTING CORALS FROM CORAL GARDENERS

At ION, as part of Boards & More, we firmly believe that our passion for watersports and cycling is inseparable from our respect for nature. That’s why we decided to adopt corals worth 1% of our online turnover each year.

Through our commitment, we reaffirm not only our goal of acting more sustainably but also our commitment to the values that shape our "Save our Playgrounds" program and our "Code of Conduct".

By donating 1% of our online turn over to environmental and social projects, we send a strong message about our commitment and invite our community to join us on this journey. According to the 1% for the Planet guidelines, up to half (½) of our 1% commitment can be fulfilled through non-monetary contributions — such as in-kind product donations, volunteer work, or campaigns that highlight 1% for the Planet.

Supporting the reforestation of corals

ION supports the reforestation of reefs through Coral Gardeners, a global organization with operations across French Polynesia, Fiji, Thailand and soon more locations. Set out to save the world’s coral reefs through active restoration efforts, led by science, powered by innovation, and amplified with community awareness and engagement.

We promote a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature. It is not only the playground we love but also the space where our values are rooted. The mountains, beaches, and waters must be preserved—not just for us, but for future generations.
