The K-Pact Amp HD is the top-tier version of our award-winning classic for progressive downhill and freeride mountain biking. We extend the protection area further down the shin with our SAS-TEC pad K-L2 Long (EN 1621-1:2012 / L2) for heavy-impact protection. Power_slide caps on the knee enhance durability, while lightweight and breathable padding on the sides completes this safety package. The angular cut and pre-shaped ergonomic fit enhance comfort. On top, the strategically placed Ergo_Strap Velcro above the calf muscle allows you to find the perfect individual fit.

Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber originally developed by DuPont. Today it’s used for a range of applications from bulletproof helmets via tires to bow strings. It offers outstanding tear resistance and tensile strength.

Ergo_Strap

Thanks to the placement above the calf, this Velcro adapts to the anatomical shape of the knee area and be tightened comfortably for a perfect fit.

Slim protection on a high level

... a really slim knee pad that goes by the name of K-Pact Amp HD and does not look like downhill protection. Although it covers the upper shin it stays relatively slim thanks the "power slide caps". They should ensure that the knee slides on the ground in case of a crash and dissipates the energy. At the back of the knee, the K-Pact Amp HD is of course ventilated by mesh, as it should be today.
