The Rascal Amp is ION's high-end, trail-oriented clipless all-terrain bike shoe. Its construction combines stiffness in the longitudinal axis with flexibility in the lateral axis and the upper. This torsional construction principle helps to prevent the foot from tilting on the pedal. Special dedicated climbing and pedal zones on the tread ensure traction both on and off the pedal. A combined lace and velcro closure system allows for an individual fit and specific fastening in certain areas._x005F_x000D_ The cushioning EVA midsole absorbs impacts while the rubberized heel and reinforced toe cap absorb and dissipate forces when the foot hits a rock or roots, protecting both the shoe and its rider. The asymmetrically shaped shaft with Ankle_Pad protects the foot on the crank side._x005F_x000D_ The robust PU main fabric ensures durability and a long lifetime of this premium shoe. Compatible with all common MTB clipless pedal systems.

We rely on the design and rubber blend of the sole. But we felt that the stiffness can be amped. That's why we reinforced the shank inside the sole to get a plus in stiffness and make for a proper sole of a high-end trail oriented bike shoe.

Das ist jetzt der dritte Schuh den ich von der Rascal-Serie habe. Und dies nicht aufgrund schlechter Qualität. Das erste Modell kaufte ich 2017. Der Schuh war und ist bequem, qualitativ gut gemacht und sieht gut aus. Da gibt es nicht mehr zu sagen.

Espero que dure como la anterior

Estas zapatillas ya las tenía la versión anterior y me duraron mucho. Espero que este nuevo modelo dure igual porque tiene cambios importantes en su construcción como la suela con parte de Foam en la entresuela. Sigue siendo cómoda y bastante rígida, el velcro está mejorado y más ancho. Debería traer una solapa en la lengüeta para pasar los cordones y que esta no se mueva a los lados.
