FOIL BOARD LEASHES

At ION you will find three types of wing foil leashes to connect your board – Hip, ankle & knee leashes. The foil hip and ankle leashes work like your classic surf board leash. Simply attach them to your leg, to keep your board close by when wiping out. The coiled design ensure that the leash doesn’t get tangled up or in the way when riding. Hip leashes work both as attachment point for your board or your wing. With the hip belt, you keep your gear close by and can access the leash quickly in an emergency. An additional safety feature can be found with a quick-release system that is known from kite leashes.

WING LEASHES

Keeping your wing close by is crucial for sessions in stronger winds or in case you’re wiping out. At ION you can find a range of wing leashes for different attachment points – Waist or wrist. Wrist wing leashes offer the closest connection to your wing while hip leashes give you good accessibility. The coiled leash version reduces the maximum length of the leash and ensures nothing gets tangled or in the way. The elastic cord leashes offer simple and durability.
