Abrasion protection wasn't enough for ION's approach to functional and smart protective gear. That's why they amped up the K-Sleeve. The Sleeve construction offers a compressed fit to make sure everything stays in place while biking. For added light-impact (EN 1621 , Level 1) protection ION uses a 3D-shaped protection pad. The pre-shaped form and strategic cuttings of the pad enable it to fit the natural posture of your knee and make sure that the pad can follow those movements. In case of a crash, a non-sewn layer on top of the sleeve makes sure that you get a bit of sliding ability, preventing the pad from riding up in contact with the ground.

Additional lining on the outside, which prevents the protector from moving in case of a crash. Also, it protects the material underneath adding to a longer lifetime of the product.

Qualität ist gut aber fällt sehr klein aus

Also die Qualität ist gut. Sauber verarbeitet, da gibt ed nichts zu bemängeln. Die Schoner sind auch noch recht flexibel und nicht zu schwer. Sie bieten vermutlich einiges an Schutz, genau kann ich dad nicht beurteilen, da ich damit noch nicht gestürzt bin. Bei den Größen muss man allerdings aufpassen. Die Schoner fallen schon sehr klein aus. Ich bin 175 und wiege 85 kg, hab quasi a bissel was auf den Rippen. Größe L ist mir schon fast zu klein. Die Angabe auf der Webseite zu den Abmaßen passt auf keinen Fall. Ich hab extra davor die Umfänge gemessen und großzügig ausgewählt, ist aber trotzdem zu eng. Also wenn man passend bestellen will, dann auf jeden Fall eine Nummer größer bestellen als die Tabellen angegeben.
